The machine Mod. NG permits to finger joint two veneer strips, already lengthwise trimmed.
The finger jointing is obtained by cutting with knife and counter-knife purpose-shaped, driven by hydraulic cylinders. This unit includes:
- Device to insert strip
- Two finger cutting units for head and end strip
- Devices for clamping and feeding strip (input and output)
- Thermo-adhesive tape application device
- Device to press and heat thermoadhesive tape
- Wet device for adhesive tape
- Automatic motorized unwinding unit for thermoadhesive tape
